Dr. David Golke provides comprehensive dental care. He received his Bachelors Degree from Bemidji State University where he majored in biology and also studied chemistry and music. He attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Golke established Dentistry at the Center in Alexandria in 1985. Along with being a recognized dentist with us, Dr. Golke has also worked as a Clinical Instructor at the Hygiene School in St. Cloud, MN. His membership and association portfolio includes the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, as well as the American Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Golke has three teenage sons. The four of them can often be found in the kitchen preparing supper or baking his famous chocolate chip cookies. Dr. Golke has also been a foster parent to a large number of children and teens. The 5 long term teens, now adults with children of their own, continue to be part of the family.
Always an advocate for the community, he has been involved in volunteering and has a special interest in learning disabilities, IEP, Minnesota special hockey, ADHD and other brain functions, as well as involvement on church boards, music, live theatre, Love Inc., teaching, lobbying, ski patrol, foster parenting boards, and youth boards.
Beyond his community involvement, he enjoys gardening and spending time with his family skiing, tubing, fishing, and attending baseball and hockey events.
