No longer do you need two visits to the dentist to receive a crown. Our office has the latest in CAD/CAM (Computer assisted design/Computer aided manufacturing) technology to offer same day crowns for patients.
How does it work?
We prepare the tooth as usual, then use a digital scanner to make an extremely accurate 3D digital impression of your tooth (no more gooey stuff!). Next, we digitally send the impression to our in-office milling machine, where you can watch your crown being made! Finally, we crystallize it in our oven and then it is ready to be delivered.
